Who We Are
The Harvest Outreach People Project (HOPP) is a compassion-driven nonprofit committed to ensuring that every family has access to fresh, healthy food and essential resources. What began as a small effort to meet the growing needs within our communities has evolved into a movement that reaches families throughout Delaware and Maryland.
We exist because people matter. Every child, senior, neighbor, and family deserves dignity, support, and hope — and our mission is rooted in showing up when and where our communities need us most.

Our Story
The HOPP began with a simple belief — that every family deserves dignity, stability, and hope. As food insecurity grew across our region, we saw a need to step in, show up, and take action. What started as a small gesture quickly grew into a community-powered movement committed to feeding families with fresh produce and uplifting those facing hardship.
Week after week, month after month, volunteers, partners, faith communities, farmers, and organizations joined together to ensure no family was left behind. As demand increased, so did our commitment. Today, The HOPP has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving families across Delaware and Maryland — rooted in compassion, strengthened by community, and driven by purpose.
Our story is still being written, and every partner, volunteer, and supporter is helping us turn the page toward a brighter, healthier future for thousands of families.
